Central Regional Football Association's Women's Division One League play-off match between Combined Forces and Socrates kicks off this morning at the Mankessim Astro Turf.
The match will determine the winning club that will represent the Region at the Zonal Championship and also to Climax the end of the 2021-2022 Regional Women's Division One League Season.
Essiam based Socrates Ladies was last season's Central Regional representative to the Zonal Championship but could not make it to the Women's Premier League.
However, the team was able to finish the group B of this season's League with 18points after defeating all the three teams that participated in the group (Mfantseman Royals, Soccer Angels and Kessewa) back to back in the process.
Combined Forces on the other hand went undefeated with home and away victories over Ali Royals, Charlton Ladies and Personality Ladies giving them 18 points.
Even though the game was scheduled to kick off at 8:00am, the match delayed due to the effects of heavy downpour last night
